CHECK-IN & OUT

  • We’re a digital-first hotel, that means no traditional reception desk. But no stress: check-in and check-out are super easy and save you precious time to enjoy the best of Hasselt. Here’s how it works: 

     

    CHECK-IN: A few days before your arrival, we’ll send you an email with a link to check in online. On the day of arrival around 12:00 noon, you will receive the link to your digital key by email. Be sure to also check your spam folder if necessary, and open the email in your mailbox so the link is clickable. Your keys will be activated from 3:00 PM onwards, allowing you easy access to your room.

    CHECK-OUT: When it’s time to head out, we’ll send you a check-out email where you can confirm your departure and settle any open tabs. Quick and easy.

  • Nope, you won’t get a physical key. Instead, you’ll receive a link by email on the day of arrival to open your digital key. It works through a web app, no need to install anything, just open the link in your mobile browser. You’ll see two sliders: one opens the front door, the other opens your room.
    If anything doesn’t go as planned, give us a call at 011 37 80 82 — we’re here to help!

  • Check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out is at the latest 11:00.


    You can book an early check-in allowing you to access your room as of 13:00. It comes at a cost of €25. You can also reach out if you like to drop off your luggage ahead of time.


    Want to sleep in a little longer? You can extend your check-out to 13:00 for an extra fee of €25.

  • No worries — with your digital key, you can check in and access your room at any time.

YOUR STAY

  • Got an urgent issue? Call us on 011 37 80 82. For anything less urgent, shoot us an email at info@door9hasselt.com.

  • We’re a smoke-free hotel, that means no smoking anywhere inside the hotel, including your room. Lighting up will cost you: we charge a flat €200 cleaning fee if this rule is broken.

  • We love furry friends (trust us, we do!), but unfortunately pets aren’t allowed at the hotel.

  • We do not have lockers or safes in the rooms. We do have a central safe. Contact us if you would like us to store any valuable belongings

  • Yep, all our rooms are equipped with climate control so you’ll be comfy all year round.

  • Sure! Just let us know in advance and we’ll arrange a baby cot for you (subject to availability) at a fee of 25€ per night.

FOOD & DRINK

  • Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00, Monday to Friday, and from 8:00 to 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Come hungry!

  • Of course! We’d love to welcome you in our bar & bistro. You can book a table through our website or access directly via this link , or just swing by and we’ll sort it for you. Our bar is open Tuesday to Saturday from 17:00 to 23:00. On Sundays and Mondays, we recommend our sister restaurant Entrepot del Tartufo, just around the corner. Bookings can be made on www.entrepotdeltartufo.com

  • Our bar & bistro serves delicious dishes with a French Twist that are perfect for sharing (or not!). Take a look at our menu here.

GETTING HERE

  • We’re right in the heart of Hasselt, walking distance from everything, shops, restaurants, musea and so much more!

    • We don’t have private parking, but there are several public parking options nearby. The closest ones are:

    • Q-Park TT: Capucienenstraat 17–25, ~350 m (≈ 4 min walk) from Zuivelmarkt 9. 510 spaces, electric charging points, 24/7 access. Approx. €2.50/hour, ~€18–20/day.

    • Q-Park Dusart: Koning Boudewijnlaan, ~750 m (≈ 5 min walk) from Zuivelmarkt 9. Underground garage with 800+ spaces, electric charging points, 24/7 access. Approx. €2.50/hour, ~€18–20/day.

    • Parking Blauwe Boulevard (Quartier Bleu): Gelatineboulevard 10, ~1.1 km (≈ 15 min walk) from Zuivelmarkt 9. Large underground parking with 1,800+ spaces and electric charging points, 24/7 access. Approx. €1.80/hour, ~€12/day (cheapest underground option in Hasselt).

  • Yes, you can access the hotel by train. The station from Hasselt is approximately 10-12 minutes on foot away. There are also busses that get you closer.
